Our Offer

Seeing a permaculture system live can spark inspiration and interest in your students. This offering includes a brief introduction to permaculture followed by a guided tour of a working permaculture system. An exciting day trip for students of all ages!

We offer field trips to 2 different permaculture sites:

The Auenhof bei Feldbach is a Learning and demonstration farm in Hombrechtikon where the Down to Earth Academy holds training courses in permaculture. Here we are also developing a permaculture garden designed specifically for children, and this location is where we hold our holiday and weekly programs for children.

The Permaculture Gardens at PopUp Dietlimoos is a community run permaculture project in Adliswil. This urban permaculture system was initiated in 2021. With herb and vegetable gardens, fruit trees, berries, a compost garden, and a natural playground, this site serves as a learning space as well as a gathering place for local schools and families.

  • We recommend a group size of up to 20 students.
  • Travel must be organized by the school.
