Weekly Program
at the Wehrenbachtobel
Nestled in a beautiful forest landscape and close to the city of Zurich, the Wehrenbachtobel offers the children in this group many opportunities to get closer to nature.
There is a beautiful stream with waterfalls, winding forest paths with wildflowers, wild animals and many natural building materials that stimulate the creative mind.
The Segetenhaus provides a warm and safe place for us to learn about permaculture, watch the chickens and pigs, and it offers an earth oven to bake homemade pizzas!
.
This bilingual (d/e) group focuses on building a foundation of understanding about the natural world. We take both an experimental and scientific approach to learning about topics such as soil life, the different biomes and ecosystems on our planet, native wildlife, and plant identification.
The program is led by professional educator and permaculture expert Angela Malmgren.
